We are looking to appoint a Technician to support our excellent 3D Art and Design A level course at our Havant campus.
20 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (term time only)

The 3D Art and Design Technician role is vital to our students’ success on this dynamic and popular A level. The main duties are to support students and staff by preparing materials and equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.In addition, the Technician provides practical and technical advice to students at an individual and small group level, and ordering and maintaining stock levels for materials and equipment.3D Art is one of five A level Art and Design courses at the Havant campus, so the successful candidate will work alongside other Technicians and the teaching team.
The 3D Design Studio is a well-resourced space with a range of machinery for students’ use, including saws, a drill, polisher and sander, as well as a 3D printer and IT facilities.Knowledge of, and skills to use these facilities is desirable.Knowledge of health and safety measures and practices is also essential as the role includes responsibility for the workshop area and the completion of risk assessments.
