Protocol Education are seeking to appoint an Academic Mentor to join a thriving secondary school in Ilford.

As an Academic Mentor, you will support the learning and raise the attainment of students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The main purpose of the role is to raise the aspirations and achievements of students whilst supporting their well-being.

Previous experience of working in an educational setting would be beneficial, however training will be provided to those who are less experienced.

The school is highly successful and oversubscribed effectively displaying innovative and proactive approach to school improvement, resulting in high levels of performance.

Requirements of an Academic Mentor:

• Maths and English GCSE
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to work 1-1 and in small groups
• Ability to work with KS4-KS4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
