Admissions Officer Job at University of Central Lancashire
We are looking to appoint an Admissions Officer to provide administrative and clerical support in the busy Admissions Office. The post holder will guide student applications from receipt to enrolment, record Accreditation of Prior Learning, and provide advice and guidance from enquirer pre-application to enrolment.
This post will be working in the centralised team within Admissions with a primary focus on supporting the applicant journey. The successful candidate will work with colleagues both in the UK Admissions, enquiries and recruitment teams building professional relationships to aid student recruitment.
The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communication and customer care skills who is able to work unsupervised and exercise their judgment and initiative. They will have the ability to work with a diverse range of people on a daily basis and be able to present information both verbally and in the form of reports.
The post holder will keep abreast of policy and legislative changes affecting applicants contributing to policy and systems development. They will have A levels or equivalent experience/experiential learning and a word processing/typing/IT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experiential learning.
Flexible working is necessary as evening and weekend working is required at peak periods during the admissions cycle.
