The Assistant Project Worker will work as part of a team assisting young people in North Ayrshire into employment and training. They will have the opportunity to learn how a busy employability service runs and how the work we do impacts on local young people

The biggest part of the role will be assisting with the work of our newly formed Community Animation Team who will be based in the community with the aim of engaging with the hardest to reach and most disengaged young people in North Ayrshire. This will be done through home visits, local surgeries and other local engagements.

There will also be the opportunity to get involved in the delivery of group work.

The candidate may also be expected to deliver some very basic admin support so a basic knowledge of IT would be beneficial.

A driving licence is not essential but would be beneficial in this role.
