Dental Associate Required

Our team are currently searching for an associate to replace a long serving dentist.

There is flexibility with any potential start date, though this position will become available from February 2023 onwards. This position is still available as of Dec 6th 2022, all applications are welcome.

The role is for 4 or 5 days per week with which days/sessions you would prefer to be in surgery, negotiable. There is no weekend working required.

50% renumeration available.

We are a three surgery, mixed, independent, dental practice providing care to NHS, plan & private patients.

The new associate would be situated in a contemporary, well equipped, dental surgery:

• A modern Dentsply Sirona Chair
• Surgery computer with SOE/Exact software
• Digital Phosphor Plates
• Rotary Endodontic File Systems (Endo Motors & Apex Locators with Wave One Gold)
• New NSK fibre optic micro head high speed hand-pieces & slow speed hand-pieces
• Carestream 1200 intra-oral camera
• Access to a DSLR practice camera
• Air Flow Handy 3+
• Trios 4 intra-oral scanner
• Good ventilation providing adequate air changes
• Air conditioning unit
• Large TV screen

The new associate would benefit from:

• Joining an experienced, friendly & approachable team

• Full clinical freedom over treatments and own appointment book
• Free to use any dental laboratory
• Option to refer in-house to our aesthetic dentist or to discuss/plan treatments
• Full administrative support from our full time receptionist and practice manager
• Working alongside a fully qualified and well experienced dental nurse
• Working in a relaxed, supportive environment where there are no financial targets
• No treatment backlog present & appointments available within a few weeks

The practice is 25 minutes from Glasgow, easily accessible with a free car park very close by.

There is a full patient list to transfer (containing a healthy capitation & continuing care payment) with excellent private potential.

If the successful applicant has any areas of clinical interests that they wish to pursue, the practice will help support these.

There is the opportunity to provide Facial Aesthetics, Short Term Orthodontics & Implant Restorations or anything else if desired for.
