Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
- Managing our goods receiving team, ensuring all deliveries are goods matched and recorded precisely, expertly using our online procurement systems, including food, beverage and non-consumables, always striving for the highest levels of accuracy and precision
- Ensuring an outstanding level of service to our teams requisitioning and receiving goods; managing stock levels and stock rotation and ensuring timely, efficient, deliveries to all areas of the business
- Ensuring Health & Safety and hygiene standards are maintained across the entire back of house area, expertly using the SAEKER system to achieve this
- Taking part in weekly walk rounds of BOH areas with the Culinary team; auditing, compiling action plans, swiftly and adeptly implementing the necessary improvements
- Taking responsibility for and actioning our wastage management procedures and an active member of our Green Team
- Managing inventories and stock levels of silverware, china and glassware and the relevant document to support ordering and cost management; always checking maintenance and quality
- Building strong working relationships across Townhouse, liaising with our HODs, as a key element to the success of our commercial operation
- Manpower planning for the back of house team in line with our projected levels of business; participating in the recruitment process with other members of the team
- Adhering to all operating procedures, monitoring, completing all relevant documentation, including cleaning schedules, HACCP and COSHH; supporting all of our teams to apply due diligence and adhere to Gleneagles Food and Safety policies
- Supporting and developing your team, agreeing individual objectives and targets to continually improve service levels and revenues; sharing operational and performance related information so everyone is aware of successes and areas for development
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way
