- To ensure that outpatient clinics run smoothly and efficiently by ensuring medical records (x-rays and notes) and all required correspondence and results are available and accurately prepared for the clinics. Escalating to Consultants if said information is unavailable and chasing outstanding items.
- To ensure appropriate utilisation of clinic space by proactively monitoring the booking of patients and taking action with under or over booked sessions
- Maintain accurate and effective central filing system & maintenance of the Patient Admissions System.
- Direct communication with Patients on availability, booking and management of their RTT and or 62 Day Cancer pathway in conjunction with Nursing and Consultant teams
- Delivering and facilitating actions taken from PTL and communicating progress
- Provide the range of necessary administrative and/or secretarial services to an agreed individual or team in a highly efficient manner and so ensure that your designated area of work runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Work with those you support to develop a collaborative working partnership which positively contributes to their overall efficiency & role performance.
- Work collaboratively with other Support services staff and support them to deliver successfully as required.
