About The Role:

• Our team needs a Campaign Copywriter; it's a position for someone that loves beauty and is also a great writer.
• We're looking for someone serious about their career and gaining experience in a fast-paced environment.

• You'll be part of our beliefs, voice, and face, ensuring all site campaigns are accurate, eloquent, and dependable, utilising clear and simple English that matches the Escentual brand voice, tone, and style.

Contract: Permanent (confirmed after passing three months probation period).

Working hours: 40 hours, full-time, as required.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Salary range: Starting £22,000.

Location: Cardiff, Wales, CF24 5PG

Who You Will Work With:

• You will be a part of the Campaigns team.
• Your manager will be Chelsey Edmunds, Campaigns Manager.

What You'll Do:

• Write clear and compelling copy campaigns across the site, paying close attention to and researching current trends, our brands' style and audience, and Escentual.com's language and tone of voice.
• Create engaging and informative videos for our product pages and social channels.
• Ensure all campaigns are commercially and editorially viable and appeal to our premium customer.
• Submit campaigns on time as the first step in a sub-editing process.
• Write category, brand pages, and editorial/social/email copy as and when required.
• Update and refresh campaigns periodically.
• Meet daily upload targets and be measured on volumes, content accuracy and quality.
• Support team with ad hoc campaign-related tasks.
• Be comfortable appearing in videos and images for our communications.
• Be an advocate for the campaigns we launch on-site, ensuring each launch is maximised by putting forward campaign ideas based on product-led trends and themes you gather from your research and pitching them via the Campaign Pool for approval.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent written English with strong grammar skills.
• Sound knowledge of beauty, brands and trends.
• Be self-aware and responsive to feedback.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital marketing environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Awareness of SEO best practices.
• Degree in a related discipline: Communications, English or Journalism.
• Knowledge of Google sheets.
• Passion for creating video and viral content.
• Confident on camera.
• CIM or DCIM.
