The job involves all aspects of care which includes moving and handling and personal care, ensuring service users dignity and wishes are at the centre of the care provided. Training will be provided.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within one of our 2 council and NHS CQC “good” rated establishments, as part of an integrated team working alongside other professionals, including nurses, physiotherapist and social workers.
The emphasis of our work is to maximise independence, provide rehabilitation, social and therapeutic stimulation and motivation with the aim to maintain someone living at home for as long as possible.
Wilfred Geere provides residential intermediate care for older people.
Laburnum Lodge provides residential/ nursing intermediate care for older people.
