We are looking for a fabulous new carer to join our friendly team.

If you are looking for 15 hours PLUS work per week, we'd love to hear from you! We have a variety of shift patterns - days, evenings, weekends to fit your other commitments.

Day shifts start at around 7:30 am generally, though we can be flexible, and evenings are generally 5 - 10pm, but please get in touch to let you know what you're looking for. We ask all our carers to work every other weekend too. Or if you prefer you can just work weekends. Its a great way to earn whilst making a real difference to the lives of others, and gain huge satisfaction.

• £18 p/h bank holidays.
• £13.80 p/h evenings and weekends.
• £12 p/h week days until 7pm.
• 35p per mile mileage.
• 28 days annual leave, pro-rata.

Duties include:

• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Personal care
• Administering medication
• Assisting Clients with washing and dressing.
• Shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation.
• Taking Clients for appointments or outings.

Requirements of the role:

• Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
• Have a genuine passion to want to help others.
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Live within 10 miles of Wokingham, and role will include visiting clients in their homes in Wokingham, Twyford, Woodley, Earley and Winnersh.

Your background experience:

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: Retail Sales Assistant, Customer Service, Hairdresser/Beautician, Receptionist, Administrator, House Keeper, Cleaner.
