We are currently recruiting for a Public Space Surveillance Operator (CCTV) to work with our partners such as Police ,NCA, DWP and other investigatory bodies in keeping our communities safe and helping Police by monitoring of real time CCTV and directing Officers by radio to incidents and securing evidence.
You will be Identifying, reporting, and recording anything suspicious. Operating the cameras and equipment effectively, making sure the best evidential quality images are recorded.
You will be required to write reports or witness statements and attend court, to give evidence supporting the CCTV images.
You should be confident to liaise with external and internal agencies such as DWP, National Crime Agency and other investigatory bodies.
You will be responsible for ensuring your equipment is functioning correctly by carrying out equipment checks, you will be given full training for all of the above.
We work on a shift basis, including evening and weekends, so flexibility for the role is key.
If you have an SIA Public Space Surveillance Licence Optional), great customer service skills with the ability to write a factual report this could be a very rewarding role for you.
Good knowledge of the local area an advantage but not essential. All other training to perform the role will be provided.
We are offering full time, permanent contracts and you will be paid a starting pay of £11.05 ph.
