We have a really interesting and exciting opportunity for a part-time Co-ordinator working in charity and events. This is a a challenging role that you can make your own, it is very varied and covers a range of responsibilities from administration, accounting to events management. The role is 2 days a week (15 – 20 hours), with flexible days and times and can be hybrid working 1 day in the office.
Responsibilities:
- Administration Tasks including:
- co-ordinating projects/event proposals
- trustee meeting and agendas
- monitoring emails
- Handling of charity accounts, liaising with accountants, raising invoices, managing grant budgets, ensuring income from supporters is accountant for
- Ability to keep up to date with charity commission requirements
- Events – complete oversight and management of all projects/events including collating guest lists, marketing, monitoring RSVPs/dietary/allergies, sourcing from suppliers, gathering auction items for both silent and live auctions, dealing with volunteers and running event from start to finish
- Liaising with applicants in relation to Funding and Grant Schemes. Gather information to ensure compliance with funding requirements and review application process when required to ensure it is up to date and applicable
- A strong desire to work closely with the communities
