Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease.

As the Senior Clinical Specialist, you will take a leadership role and responsibility in delivering the Clinical strategic objectives for the territory and support the vascular team members by providing operational support and training to support strategic, operational, and quality objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • As a Clinical Specialist, you will provide in field training (10% time) to Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers to ensure we have the highest Industry standard clinical knowledge as well as plan and deliver educational programmes,

  • This role will require in depth market analysis and therapy penetration involving key account performance. Highlighting and creating new opportunities for growth and therapy adoption as well as Clinical KOL Management for Strategic portfolio

  • Provide Clinical support for Capital Hardware troubleshooting and support Physicians during clinical procedures. Providing primary technical support to physician and nurses during procedures.

  • You will support vascular Product Launch strategy and its execution, via supporting product implementation plans and customer engagement.

  • Conduct product presentations and respond to technical questions that might be raised by EMEAC or customer personnel.

  • Take responsibility to understand and comply with all clinical practices and standing orders required by the individual healthcare establishments when attending in support of any medical procedure.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree preferably in Sciences

  • Experience in a Cath lab clinical role or healthcare clinical specialist role

  • Knowledge of the UK healthcare market

  • Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and Written

  • Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time

  • Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol

  • Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge

  • Good PC utilization and presentation skills to include: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
