Customer Service Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to join the Customer Service team based at our main office in Linwood. This is a full-time, permanent position covering 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the successful candidate will handle all customer enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Deal with all customer enquiries in a professional manner
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to customers over the phone and in writing
  • Resolve customer queries to customer’s satisfaction
  • Complaint handling/investigating/resolution via phone and email
  • Update all relevant systems with accurate information, including supplier portals
  • Liaise with other areas of the business as and when required
  • Keep customers updated with the status of their request
  • Run customer/business reports as and when required
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and share workloads
  • Cleanse customer records to ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Experience and Qualifications:


  • Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages is essential.
  • Previous experience of working in a Customer Service or Transport department is essential.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Earn up to £26,500 per annum
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8am- 5pm
  • 26 days and 4 statutory days holiday
