Job Overview - Aviva Travel Inbound Customer Service Specialist
- Start Date: 13/03/2023
- Salary: £20,301.14 Per Annum - £10.89 per hour (Salary increases to £22,165 after 6 months if minimum competencies displayed)
- Site: Work From Home
- Shifts: Full Time 35.85 hours working 5/7 days, Monday to Friday 08:00-20:00, Saturday 09:00-17:00, Sunday 10:00-16:00 (Must be fully flexible within hours stated) NO PART TIME HOURS AVAILABLE
- Training: 28 Days
- Contract: Permanent
- Probity: DBS, Credit Check and 2 year employment history (this is in addition to referencing)
Day to day responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative
Inbound Customer service dealing with customers who have questions about their Aviva travel policies, updating medical screening questionnaires etc- Resolve enquiries with speed and precision and delight customers by providing timely, accurate and expert advice
- Deliver a service where patience, empathy and building rapport are central
- Record, track, and effectively resolve incidents and queries and strive to achieve first call resolution
- Manage databases, tools, applications and operating systems and create clear notes on customers’ accounts with relevant details
- Comply with the company’s policies and practices
- Update your knowledge through the associated guidelines and procedures
Skills needed to be a Customer Service Representative
We are looking for the following skills and attributes:
- Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to show attention to detail
- Ability to establish collaborative customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- A good attitude and the ability to interact with lots of different people.
- Professional and friendly telephone manner
- Customer Service experience
- Experience of working in a target driven environment to a high standard.
- PC skills, and the ability to navigate multiple systems competently, with ease.
- A good consistent typing speed
- Take ownership of situations with positivity, resilience, and a dedicated approach to providing service excellence.
- Able to work within a fast paced, engaging environment
