This is an exciting opportunity for an IT fanatic to really make a difference in helping us streamline our current processes within the financial function of Volvo Trucks and develop new and contemporary ways of working.
The role will include
- Developing Power BI dashboards and Power Platform workflow to support the business.
- Technical support for the developed and existing reports/systems.
- Convert business requirements in to meaningful and easy to use reports
- Provide corrective actions that contribute to the improvement of overall functionality
- Provide system specific training to the team as required.
The successful candidate will have a real passion for IT, and possibly an excel guru. Experience already of Power BI and Power Platform would be advantageous but not essential. You will have a can-do attitude and always be looking where improvements can be made. Due to the data that you will be working with, attention to detail and analysing data will come naturally to you. You will enjoy working in a team and will be comfortable liaising with other colleagues to source business requirements.
The role sits within the Business Control team, which is a small, friendly team within Volvo Trucks. We have a number of Apprentices who work in the Volvo Group offices in Warwick and we are fully committed to ensuring we provide the experience and support that you need to successfully complete your apprenticeship.
This is a 16 month apprenticeship run with QA Training Provider, to qualify for the program you will need to have a Level 3 qualification or typically 2 years work experience in relevant field and 5 GCSEs including maths and English.
