Are you passionate about news and digital storytelling?

We’re hiring digital content producers to work with our newsrooms on the Google Showcase project.

Our Google Showcase and optimisation team will select the very best content from thousands of stories we publish every day across our network of titles and optimise them for Google’s Showcase platform as well as other key content distribution sites.

The successful candidate will need to be in tune with our analytics platform to select the best content as well as responding quickly to trending content that is capturing the imagination of our readers.

The team will also have the opportunity to produce unique content for our brands across the UK based on what our readers are talking about and searching for, making every day unique. One day you could be writing about the latest television talent show and the next day you could be looking at consumer hacks to shape our spending habits and lifestyle choices.

Successful candidates will display a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and excellent written skills as well as a functional knowledge of article SEO and media law.

Experience within the industry is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Weekend and shift work will be essential as we look to expand our team.

Skills/experience

• Understanding of media law
• Excellent written English skills
• Basic search engine optimisation
• Experience using a content management system
• Basic understanding of analytics and how to interpret the data

Please note this role is remote however there is a requirement that you must be residing in the UK
