The Director of Estates and Facilities is a new role to our Trust and one we are excited to introduce to our high performing, supportive and talented central team. We are looking for a leader who will bring together and complement the existing teams but also add challenge and new ideas. This role is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week all year round. You will be contracted on a hybrid working model which includes the variety of working from home, office-based working and academy visits. We believe in a flexible working approach.

What we are looking for:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Estates and Facilities, will lead on all matters relating to the estates and facilities of the CLF, including health and safety, the CLF leisure and lettings arm and emerging requirements around site-based sustainability. The Director will have a clear understanding of the CLF’s purpose, future direction, priorities, and performance – as well as the external influences and trends impacting them. They will be part of the Executive Team and will lead their areas strategically, in conjunction with the wider Trust’s aims and strategic plan: “Equity Through Education 2030”.
Through high performing teams, the Director will oversee the care, upkeep and maintenance of all our sites overseeing the highest standards of service delivery, the ongoing development and awareness of health and safety practice and the hire of CLF facilities.
