Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic EMEA Emissions Compliance Placement to join our team specialising in EMEA Emissions Compliance for our Technical Compliance and Certification organisation in the UK (Darlington, Huddersfield, or Daventry). During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organisation operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Supporting Emissions Compliance Testing Programmes - Support the Emissions Compliance Specialist with the day-to-day activities.
- Procurement activities - Identifying Vehicles in the field that fit within prescribed parameters, working with Sales Account Teams, Customer Support teams and Customer Engineering.
- Ordering of replacement systems - Support the Compliance Team with ordering of replacement systems for compliance emissions programmes.
- Logistic planning of vehicles and machinery - Support the Compliance Team with arranging and tracking of deliveries in and out of Cummins.
- Customer Engagement & Digital Training material creation and distribution - to create and continually improve interactive and visual Customer Engagement and Training materials that are tailored to the specific audiences to represent what we do in the testing process.
- Project lead & support - Leads an initiative identified by the Compliance Team from initial concept to completion. Supports more complex initiatives identified by EMEA TC&C
Qualifications
- Studying for a degree with an interest in environmental issues and project management.
- Experienced in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Effective Communicator, experience in a customer facing environment is advantageous.
- Hybrid working, with 3 days a week in the office.
- Willingness to actively engage in community activities and Company initiatives.
