A bit about the role

Day Shifts 08:30am – 19:30, with some flexibility.
We are looking for a full time, support worker to deliver support in some of our independent supported living services in the centre of Whickham. If you enjoy variety and staying busy this could be the perfect role for you! You will provide 1:1 support, prompts and guidance to enable people to stay safe and well within their own homes. You'll spend a couple of hours with each person, helping them to complete tasks such as food shopping, meal planning and preparation, managing medication, accessing their local community and completing household tasks. You'll also support people to set goals and help them to achieve these e.g. gaining voluntary employment, starting college course, joining social groups etc.
