Nigel Wright are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Assistant for a permanent role with our client in Newton Aycliffe. This role offers hybrid working.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Managing and submitting VAT expense receipts.
Processing credit card applications
Managing Bank Account and Payment portals
Assist the Financial Accountant in maintaining the correct VAT records, including submission of small subsidiary VAT returns
Month End reconciliations.
Month End reporting of Intercompany balances
Reporting and reconciliation of suspense account
Monthly posting, reporting and reconciliation of Company cars, Fuel Cards, Telephones, Utilities & Council Tax
As the ideal candidate:
- Demonstrate solid experience of working within a Finance Assistant role and Accounts department.
- Strong systems understanding with Excel know how.
- Able to work full time hours.
- A team player with good communication skills
