This position in our Fundraising Team will see you acting as the main point of contact for supporter enquires, information, and ongoing supporter care within the team, so you'll need to be confident and have great written and verbal communication skills.

You will also act as a champion for data entry, ensuring records on our database are accurate and up to date, that all donations are processed efficiently, and that supporters and donors are being acknowledged and thanked promptly. Therefore, excellent computer and time management skills are a must.

You'll also be supporting the wider Fundraising Team with additional administrative tasks, and help out as necessary at our events.

Many of our supporters have a story to tell, so good listening and empathetic skills are required, and the ability to handle potentially sensitive situations.

About Weldmar Hospicecare: Rated Outstanding by the CQC, Weldmar Hospicecare provides end of life care throughout north, west and south Dorset. This care is given in the comfort of patients own homes, via our Day Services across the county or as patients at our Inpatient Unit, Dorchester. All care is provided completely free of charge and mainly funded by the continued support of our local community via our fundraising events and activities, chain of retail sites and legacies, raising over £6M each and every year.
