The University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is seeking to recruit a proactive and flexible team-player with excellent student support skills and an intercultural sensibility to support our international PGT students as a key member of our Employability Team.
You will work with various professional services team members to provide advice, support and direction to students. You will focus particularly on supporting international students who wish to work in the UK beyond graduation, so a sound knowledge of the UK labour market and graduate recruitment process would be valued.
The Global Employment Opportunities Officer supports employability activities to those studying on the School¿s MSc programmes - including student consultancy projects, mentoring and graduate recruitment preparation. Working with professional services and academic colleagues in the School, Faculty and across the University, the post-holder supports students by providing 1:1s, generating resources and developing communications. This is a challenging and exciting role that interfaces with students, internal colleagues and at times industry partners.
You will have high-quality experience working with students, outstanding organisational skills and the digital skills necessary to create and deliver online learning materials. You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to build relationships with local and international students, graduates and employers from a range of industry settings.
You will have a Degree or equivalent with experience of managing projects and building strong and successful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
There are two posts available - one is permanent and one is on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
