We are recruiting for a Head of Delivery to provide change leadership, strategic thinking and direction across our large-scale transformation programmes and own the delivery of outcomes to deliver key parts of the UK General Insurance (GI) Personal Lines strategy, always with the customer at the forefront.
A bit about the job:
As the Head of Delivery, you will set a delivery strategy and model using Aviva change governance and lead the delivery of a multi-year change portfolio of large scale from concept through to full implementation. You will be responsible for decision making on execution, protecting scope and outcomes and presenting sponsors and steer co with clearly articulated decisions with options/recommendations backed by appropriate analysis. This role also sits as a key part of the GI CIO leadership team.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Work in partnership and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, with strong influencing skills to challenge and drive change and also lead innovation in the way in which we deliver outcomes
- Good knowledge and demonstrable experience of all areas of IT and business change transformation
- Extensive leadership experience, skilled in leading virtual teams effectively with ability to work at pace with resiliency
- Ability to translate high level strategy into structured and detailed implementation plans
- Ability to make effective prioritisation decisions across competing objectives
What you'll get for this role:
- Salary between £90,000 - £130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Generous pension (starting level Aviva contributes 8% when you contribute 2%)
- Eligibility for annual performance bonus of between 0% - 50%
