Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is looking for an experienced Head of Organisational Development. You will possess the necessary credibility to lead, support, and develop services and our people, to deliver high-quality care for our patients and improved population health outcomes. The Head of Organisational Development will lead, manage and provide overall direction and implementation of Learning and Development, and Organisational Development departments to support activities and achievement of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board vision. To achieve this, the postholder will be responsible for both the strategic development and operational delivery of the departments interpreting national policies procedures and guidelines and implementing them into the culture of the Health Board.
The post holder will have highly developed specialist knowledge in a range of Organisational Development areas and will be responsible for delivery of a comprehensive range of Organisational Development services across the whole of the organisation.
The post holder will be responsible for the development of innovative medium and long term strategies promoting leadership, learning and development, promoting health and wellbeing and ensuring staff are engaged.
The post holder will work with colleagues and the Assistant Director to develop the Health Board’s Wellbeing and OD Strategy and objectives, contributing to the modernisation of the workforce and delivery of the Integrated Medium Term Plan (IMTP).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
