About the role:
Objectivity are seeing an experienced Head of Sales Development, based in the UK, focused on leading and growing a team of SDRs whose goal is to generate revenue by creating qualified opportunities for the Sales teams, via inbound and outbound sales engagements. This person will have a strong focus on data quality and reporting in order to help the team perform and exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices for the SDRs , train and onboard new SDRs, and develop and mentor on an ongoing basis.
Your daily work:
- New Hires; plan for and execute on hiring and onboarding new SDRs
- Individual Development; hold recurring weekly 1:1's with the SDR team members to review performance, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure career development plans are in place
- Team Communication & Development; hold weekly team meetings, which should include either group call reviews, roleplays or training sessions on specific topics
- Goals; devise, get buy-in, and then track the SDR goals daily/weekly/monthly
- Team Output; manage team output by monitoring lead flow, daily activities and quality of opportunities created
- Forecasting; provide accurate qualified opportunity forecast on a weekly and monthly basis
- Process improvements:
- work with the Marketing Growth team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns, and also collaborate on process improvements and efficiencies
- work closely with the Sales team to identify areas of improvement for the SDR Team
- work with Leadership in the Sales, Bid and Client Principal teams, to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
- Messaging; collaborate with Content Marketing team and Guild Masters to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest and outbound outreach into qualified pipeline
Must-have skills & experience:
- 2-3 years' experience in Sales Development
- 1-2 years' experience in a manager role
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrable track record of success in managing SDR teams
- Strong understanding of B2B sales
- Experience with CRM software (MS Dynamics CRM preferred but not essential)
- Passionate about technology and learning more about Objectivity
