Our Sixth Form department currently offers twenty-seven A -Levels along with the BTEC Applied Science and delivers high pass rates consistently. The Head of Sixth Form role offers an inspirational and dedicated individual the chance to develop our Sixth Form provision to achieve excellence.
You will be learner focused and resilient with a positive approach and can invoke confidence in all. You will be able to evidence having successfully led curriculum teams to achieve high levels of performance as part of a collaborative culture of excellence either at GCSE or A level. You will also have a good working knowledge of A level curriculum. You will be able to demonstrate that your leadership has impacted positively on the experience of learners and staff. You will also have a valuable blend of leadership and management experience along with extensive teaching and learning expertise which ensures your teams consistently deliver outstanding learner outcomes and high levels of satisfaction.
You will have a proven track record of educational leadership and can easily develop positive working relationships and engage with a range of stakeholders in communicating a compelling vision of success. You will be motivated by working with others and want to make the difference that will ensure our learners are provided with an outstanding educational experience so positive it changes lives. Your business acumen to effectively manage budgets and achieve challenging targets will be proven. You will be conversant with current Ofsted inspection frameworks and educational quality management systems. There is no teaching commitment allocated to this role.
