The Compliance Department seeks to protect the Bank’s licenses to operate by promoting and enforcing adherence with laws, regulations, rules, expectations of regulators, the standards of self-regulatory organisations, and codes of conduct / ethics in connection with the Bank’s regulated activities. Compliance also takes a leading role in driving a culture of compliance and ethical conduct in the Bank.
You will work in Compliance oversight of Deutsche Bank’s CB Division providing coverage for all the products in business.

Your key responsibilities
Representing Compliance on Management and Governance forums
Managing Direct Reports within the BLC team
Implementing of the Compliance Controls Framework
Advising and supporting the London-based businesses on applicable law, rules, and regulation, including the development of responses to, and implementation of, new regulations
Providing advice on application of rules and policies to specific transactions/deals and general business activities based on an understanding of business strategies and product portfolios
Undertaking assessments of the compliance risks relating to the CB businesses, the related controls the businesses have in place or should develop and the Compliance controls which have been, or need to be, implemented
Your skills and experience
Extensive knowledge on the CB Business areas, including product suite, services, and key risks.
Experience in the provision of Compliance support to the CB business
A familiarity with the Financial Conduct Authority and other relevant regulatory regimes
An ability to interpret, understand and advise the business on a broad range or legal and regulatory issues, ability to analyse complex financing transactions and assess an array of compliance considerations including information barriers, suitability, and cross border risks
The ability to interpret, understand and advise all levels of seniority in the business of an appropriate course of action on a broad range of legal and regulatory provisions
Ability to make, support and defend difficult and complex regulatory and/or compliance decisions in a fast-paced environment
