Clinical Genomic Science offers a dynamic, stimulating and rewarding career. The East Genomic Laboratory Hub at Cambridge University Hospitals is looking for post-graduate and post-doctoral scientists with knowledge of genetics/genomics/molecular biology who wish to apply their skills within our Solid Cancer Genomic Service.
We are recruiting Healthcare Scientists to support the expansion of the Solid Cancer Genomic Service to provide large scale, high quality, patient-centric genomic testing. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic scientists with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team within this specialist clinical area. You will contribute to the service by the analysis and reporting of a range of diagnostic, predictive and screening genomic tests. There will be opportunity to support service development and R&D projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for science graduates to gain experience of genomic diagnostics; expert training and support in specialist areas will be provided. The laboratory supports HCPC registration for those who are interested and eligible, through an organised framework which includes mentoring and funded access to formal training modules/MSt.
