About the Qualified Gas Safe Boiler Service and Maintenance Heating Engineers role
We are recruiting sub-contractor heating engineers and boiler service, repair and maintenance engineers to work on boiler service and repair contracts across the Braintree area. You will be required to work inside customer properties completing repair, service and maintenance work on boilers. Your previous experience of boiler service and maintenance work will mean you can identify faults, complete repairs and certify boilers as part of annual safety checks required in social housing settings.
We require all Qualified Gas Safe Boiler Service and Maintenance Heating Engineers to work as Ltd company contractors so you will already have a ltd company set up or be happy setting up your own Ltd company to work through.
You will be provided jobs through our clients system with anything between 10-12 jobs a day up to 5 day per week. You will typically be paid per completed job with average job times being 30-60 minutes.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications etc Required:
- Full Gas Safe Registration and UK recognised ACS heating engineer qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1
- Good experience of boiler repair, maintenance and servicing in domestic properties
- Comfortable performing risk assessments and working to Health & Safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Full UK driving license with 6 or less points
- Use of your own panelled van and tools
- DBS (criminal records check) certificate within the last 6 months
- Asbestos Awareness
