Job Summary

Come and join us as an IAG, Volunteering and Training Specialist in our IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Into Work team for Islington, making a difference improving the lives of those affected by drug and alcohol issues!

The role
The Service The IPS into Work is a dedicated and focussed team that will build people’s skills through training and work experience in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Working in partnership alongside other professionals, the service will comprise 3 distinct components: Information, advice and guidance (IAG); Individual Placement Support (IPS) and Active volunteering.

If you were working with us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

  • Liaised with employers to agree work placements and opportunities. • Placed individuals into volunteer positions.
  • Given information, advice and guidance-based on individuals preferences.
  • Created new partnership links to build access for education, training and qualifications.

Location
You will work predominately in the Islington borough with some flexible working.
