You will join 2 existing Information Officers in Housing as part of the Housing Systems Programme Team. The team is currently working on the implementation of 3 housing systems. This includes:
Phase 2 of the implementation of NEC Housing, our new Housing Management System. We are currently implementing new modules and functionality within the system and developing new processes for teams not yet using it.
Implementation of a new Asset Management System
Implementation of a new Works Management System for our in house Repairs Service.
The role of the Information Officers is to support the wider Programme Team, system users and external customers in various ways. Your focus will be on testing the new systems and functionality, preparing training packages for staff in readiness for online training as well as delivering 121 and group training sessions via Microsoft Teams and in person where appropriate. You will play a key role in directly supporting staff, contractors and customers to use the system and provide assistance for common technical problems.
You will work, along with the rest of the team, in a hybrid way, working from home on some days and at our office base at the Housing Centre in Moulescoomb, Brighton on others. There may also be a need to work from other council offices occasionally if required for training sessions etc. As a team, we work flexibly. This means that the days you choose to come into the office can be tailored to suit both you and the team and you will be able to take advantage of the council’s flexitime policy.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
