Intern Job at Dorset Councils
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic INTERNS to provide support to the teachers and other staff in the school as well as the day-to-day needs of the pupils and the school as a whole. Each day will be different, but the main emphasis will be on providing a support to the sports team across all age groups in the school as well as providing TA support in the classroom as needed. The school is fortunate to have nearly 20 acres of sports fields for football, rugby, cricket and athletics, an Astro for hockey as well as a 16m swimming pool, tennis and netball courts and a state-of-the-art sports hall. A fitness area is also being equipped.
The successful candidates will be expected to be flexible, adaptable, show initiative and have the ability to work with other colleagues. A commitment to working in an environment which puts young people at its core is essential. Experience of running or coaching a sports club, up-to-date first aid skills and good ICT skills would be desirable, as is a good sense of humour.
