Responsibilities:The Role
Responsible for promoting, driving and coordinating all internal communications and events.
- Plans and organises calendar of regular corporate and other communications
- Plans and organises calendar of regular scheduled events for all sites, introducing themes or points of engagement to maximise social interaction and engagement.
- Editor-in-chief for Bell Bytes or alternative channels, and cultivates strong connections across the business to gain insights and content, and provides regular feed of news, stories– act as a “newshound”
- Create engaging content that is disseminated through multiple channels whether printed material or digital
- Coordination and crafting of regular CEO updates to all employees.
- Optimise existing internal channels and act to improve reach and penetration
- Contribute to the creation of materials for recruitment and onboarding to facilitate a positive experience for new starters (customer site, non-UK, remote works)
- Ensure communication promotes inclusion and integration of all employees across all sites and geographies.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to understand key messages and communicate complicated topics in an accessible way
- Use external tools e.g. website, LinkedIn to promote Bell’s employer brand and facilitate talent acquisition, working closely with the Marketing team.
- Work closely with the Talent & Engagemetn manager to develop and distribute materials that convey or explain Bell’s employee value proposition.
- Ensure comms proactively promote and reinforce our brand position, culture and values and a consistent Bell ‘tone of voice’ is developed in line with branding and values.
- Ensure audiences are clearly targeted and defined, and channel choice and usage are appropriate
- Liaises with marketing team to ensure all style/branding consistent
- Developing long-term communications strategies
- Facilitating or providing communications training for employees
- Establish success metrics and provide regular reports on Comms activities

Person*
- Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications desirable
- Communications experience within a business services setting, developing effective internal comms plans
- Communication skills, including drafting content, verbal communications, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate using a range of styles, tools and techniques appropriate to the audience
- Broad thinking and ability to take various perspectives to tailor communications and messaging appropriately
- Excellent organisation and planning skills. Able to multi-task and re-prioritise as needed and strong attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with project teams and a wider range of stakeholders
- Ideally experience within or knowledge of the Tech sector
- Strong creative writing skills and good understanding of what makes a good story
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Resilient and able to work with ambiguity and changing circumstances
