Investment Reporting Manager
The COO function of Aviva Investors requires an Investment Reporting Manager to join a high-performing team. You will be responsible for delivering financial reporting pertaining to the funds for the Aviva Plc accounts and regulatory returns in this capacity. For investment funds administered by Aviva Investors, you will gather the asset-level information needed to populate the IFRS reporting. Prior to submission, you will also carry out the necessary evaluations and year-to-year comparisons to guarantee the consistency and accuracy of the data. In order to deliver the needed quarterly reporting and maintain an effective control environment, including proving compliance with FRCF principles while safeguarding finance, you will be in charge of developing an effective reporting process within the team.
Responsibilities

To obtain the necessary asset-level data, collaborate with external fund accountants and the internal fund accounting supervision department.

Make that the third-party fund accountants' services are generated consistently, promptly, and to a high standard, in accordance with the agreed-upon service levels and accepted regulatory/accounting standards.

Ensure that the group receives accurate, timely, high-quality financial reporting that hasn't been compromised by an audit.

To boost productivity, assure uniformity across fund ranges, and improve the control environment, develop effective technology and automation use.

Support operational change initiatives that have an influence on group reporting, such as those brought on by regulatory developments, changes resulting from internal operational and system requirements, control enhancements, and group requirements, among others.

Ensuring that all potential risks are understood and all errors are properly reported in line with regulation, internal policies and fully remediated to avoid reoccurrence
Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Qualified accountant with up-to-date IFRS knowledge

Audit mindset

Strong Excel abilities

Excellent analytical skills and a good eye for detail

Relevant investments and IFRS experience in a large financial company preferred
