Do you have a passion for sport and exercise? Do want to work in an educational environment?
We are recruiting for a Lecturer in Sports Science, Coaching and Exercise to undertake formal scheduled teaching duties such as planning, teaching, learning and assessment, tutorials, and student professional development. We are looking for a candidate who has a genuine passion for sport, health and fitness who had to ability to teach creatively and develop effective working relationships with students and staff.
The successful candidate will hold a Teaching Qualification or be willing to undertake within the College’s specified time scale, have evidence of continual professional development. It would be beneficial if the candidate held a master’s degree, Degree in Sports Science/Studies or equivalent. Experience of teaching sports studies / sports science at various levels within 14-16 year olds, FE/HE environment, adult learners and Apprentices.
