Machine Setter Job at Zenith People
Zenith People are representing our client who are a Manufacturer based in Teesside looking to recruit an experienced Machine Setter on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Lead Engineer they are looking for candidates with excellent time management skills, a good knowledge of fault finding and an eye for detail. The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative is essential as is a flexible approach to work. Working a continental shift pattern you will take an active part in maintaining Plant machinery and services whilst ensuring that Health & Safety and site Quality Standards are achieved.
The role responsibilities:
- Daily set up of machines in High Risk and Low Risk areas prior to production, including the assembly of pumps and vain vacuum machines
- Repairing first line faults and liaising with Maintenance Engineers with more complex problems
- Basic fault finding on mechanical systems
- Ensure the availability of materials and accessories, prevent low stock levels
- Contribute to existing improvement opportunities.
- Participate in training and development activities as required and assist with the training and development of colleagues, where appropriate.
- Any other duties that could reasonably be expected as being within the remit of the post.
