Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for a Market Intelligence Officer to join our Commissioning Team in Adult Social Care. This role will use data to make a real impact on people’s lives. You will help us understand the care market in Solihull through your skills in data analysis and presentation. You will also shape services by modelling future populations and demand, helping us make changes and innovations to Adult Social Care in the borough.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, organise their time to meet both regular deadlines and ad-hoc requests. Someone who can strive to make improvements in the way we collect and analyse our data and is happy to communicate their analysis to the team and wider Adult Social Care directorate.

You will have:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience and training) in a subject that requires interpretation of research and data
  • Strong skills in interpretation of research and data
  • An interest in Adult Social care
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of effectively communicating with a wide range of stakeholders to build positive and professional relationships
  • Effective problem-solving skills
