What we are looking for
Essential
- Someone who is passionate about and understands all aspects of marketing.
- Strong leadership with the ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively.
- Have highly developed interpersonal communications skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
- The ability to think creatively about problems and provide innovative solutions.
- Digital marketing specialist with a deep understanding of how results are achieved across different digital channels.
- Highly organised with experience of creating and managing marketing campaigns.
- An excellent communicator with exceptional writing and content creation skills.
- Capable of working with creative teams to produce brand content and marketing collateral.
- Experience of using a CRM (ideally HubSpot) to track and report on marketing campaign activity and lead conversion.
Desirable
- At least 5 years’ experience in an inhouse marketing manager role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the built environment sector (property, infrastructure, energy, utilities).
- Knowledge and understanding of planning communications, government relations and corporate communications.
What you’ll need to do
- Lead the marketing for the Group’s stakeholder engagement, government relations and corporate communications teams.
- Collaborate with the service delivery teams to create effective marketing plans that will achieve the Group marketing KPIs.
- Identify areas of opportunity for stakeholder journeys, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across all digital marketing channels.
- Understand and monitor developments in the market and competitor activity.
- Identify new brand partnerships and manage the delivery of strategic partnership agreements.
- Inspire and mentor your line reports.
- Assist in the development of the annual budget and manage expenditure accordingly.
- Nurture clients through timely and insightful content, and undertake valuable client research via the Annual Client Survey.
- Manage and monitor social media profiles, ensuring there is a full schedule of content and achieving follower growth and engagement targets.
- Keeping the website(s) up to date and managing google advertising and SEO optimisation.
- Ensure guidelines for marketing communications are followed in accordance to marketing legislation.
- Work closely with the Group Business Development team to ensure marketing generated leads are followed up.
- Produce regular reports to analyse the effectiveness of marketing activity.
