Fantastic opportunity for a Qualfiied, experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join this lovely, very small, private nursery in the heart of the countryside.

Recent Ofsted inspection ‘Good with Outstanding Aspects’.

Commutable by car from Winchester, Alton, Basingstoke and surrounding areas.

Hours are 38-40 per week, Monday to Friday all year round, 8am until 6pm beautiful grounds with Forest School a key part of their curriculum.

Salary is negotiable for the right candidate, depending upon qualifications, experience and knowledge.

What would your responsibilities be as a Deputy Manager ?

• Oversee the running of 2-4 year olds room
• Monitor Tapestry to ensure children meet their developmental goals
• Assist the Manager with completing weekly rotas using BrightHR
• Ensure health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
• Support management in the smooth running of the nursery
• Promote positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
• Support the team to deliver excellence, including supervision and training plans
• Room based role with some office based duties
• Responsible to grow the nursery to increase capacity

What skills will I need to apply ?

• Level 3 / Early Years Degree or equivalent (NOT HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE PLEASE)
• Positivity, plus excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of EYFS is essential
• Good knowledge of ICT skills
• A valid DBS (update service) or willing to complete one
• SEN experience
• Must be hard-working, keen to learn and try new things
• A keen interest or experience in Forest School
• Previous experience in a similar role (2 years minimum)
• The ability to lead and inspire others
• Excellent time management skills and initiative
