Office Manager

One of our Storal Nurseries in Sparsholt, Winchester (Hampshire) are recruiting for an Office Manager to join their amazing team!

In the beautiful setting of Sparsholt College, Farley Nursery School offers a truly unique outdoor learning experience. With on-site access to the zoo and dairy farm, children can get involved in many exciting activities, including visiting the pigs and nursery vegetable patch or watching the lambing in spring. At Farley, every child has access to the great outdoors whilst also having three Yurt classrooms which provide a calm and sheltered space for the children to retreat to.

Role Purpose:

• Keeping the nursery fully complaint with Health and Safety and Environmental Health Requirements. As part of this, you will line manage the nursery kitchen and cleaning teams.
• Liaise with the Property and Maintenance team to ensure that any maintenance issue is addressed and responded to promptly.
• Being first point of contact for the families over the phone and email requirements
• Managing the office with general administrative tasks, responding to Central Support and wider stakeholder queries, meeting internal deadlines and other business priorities
• Manage children’s attendance in the nursery management system, working closely with the Regional Administration team to support them with parent account queries
• Builds and maintains an effective partnership with parents.
• Own the enquiry management process, including scheduling and booking nursery tours, advising prospective and current parents on fees, funding and session availability.
• Be aware of the Storal Safeguarding policy and ensuring that all concerns are escalated to the designated Safeguarding Lead and adhere all Storal policies and procedures.

What we need from you:

• Excellent Knowledge and understanding of IT systems, including, Microsoft Suite
• Strong organistational, oral and written skills
• Previous line management experience
• Team player with a can-do attitude and willing to work flexibly
• Experience having worked in a nursery or school environment, customer facing role or operations role
