The Position

Job Summary

Operative

Full time: 2-week rotating day shift pattern

Imerys: St Austell, PL26 8DY

Based at our Parkandillick Calciner site and reporting to the Plant Manager you’ll be joining our friendly team in ensuring smooth and continuous production; safely and efficiently. It’s a hands-on role that offers a wide variety of responsibilities, you’ll work with both fixed and mobile plant including forklift trucks and other bespoke equipment, for which you’ll receive full training plus activities are rotated so you’ll have plenty of variety.

Your skills and experience

Joining our conscientious and hardworking team you’ll need to bring your motivation, enthusiasm, and team spirit. Good HSE knowledge and experience of working in an industrial / warehousing setting is ideal. A full UK driving licence is essential, a forklift truck licence would be advantageous although training will be provided.
