Packaging Data Analyst

Job Purpose:

• Practice effective packaging data management to realize high quality packaging data assets for the Bayer Consumer Health portfolio
• Provide analytical information to help drive operational decision-making and strategic planning
• Support to establish superior digital capabilities including profound data analytics

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of bill of materials (BOM), Packaging specifications, packaging drawings and sustainability Information leveraging data via our portfolio lifecycle management (PLM) system
• Assures continues data verification and integrity to guarantee data is complete, accurate, available and accessible
• Supports data reporting to the D&P leadership on packaging data management progress and product portfolio updates
• Create data monitoring process to ensure changes, modifications and/or gaps are identified and addressed timely
• Continually identify packaging optimization opportunities in both, material and dimension but also in terms of financial saving opportunities
• Collaborate with the Design & Packaging (D&P) organization as well as all cross-functional internal and external partners such as CMOs, material suppliers etc.

Who you are:

• Education: Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Packaging Technology, Packaging Engineering
• A proven track record in the packaging industry of an international operating company (preferably in the regulated industry such as OTC / Pharma)
• Excellent IT knowledge, analytics and reporting skills, ideally with sound PLM experience.
• A positive, proactive and flexible personality with the ability to integrate and identify to our products, strategies and values
• Good communication level, interpersonal skills and high degree of customer focus
• Fit to Win Competencies: Dealing with ambiguity, Business Acumen, Organizational agility & perspective, Problem solving
• Fit to Win Skills: Analytics, Communication skills, Packaging manufacturing/PS principles
