Parcel Sorters
Our client, Royal Mail, have an URGENT requirement for temporary Parcel Sorters for their temporary Peterlee site based on Stephenson Street, Peterlee.
The role, is as it says, sorting parcels specifically for the peak period running up to Christmas.
Shifts
Monday to Friday, either;
- Days 6am - 2pm - Pay Rate £11.99/hour
- Backshift 2pm - 10pm - Pay Rate £12.99/hour
- Nightshift 10pm - 6am - Pay Rate £14.49/hour
Successful candidates will pick a shift that suits you and remain on that for that for the duration of the assignment.
You will work as part of a shift team, following all H&S regulations at all times.
Vetting
Due to Royal Mail's vetting process you will be required to complete a vetting document and provide relevant ID.
An in-date passport and in date provisional/driving licence with your current address on is suitable ID for the vetting checks.
Alternative ID such as a birth certificate can be used, you would require an alternative proof of address if you don't have a driving licence, these MUST be NON-online documents dated within the last 3 months and MUST show your FULL name and NOT initials.

Due to working in an industrial setting you will be required to wear the following items;
- Safety Shoes
- Hi Vis Vest
