Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Hornsey
Job Type: Permanent (part-time or full-time)
Pay: £26,000-£34,000 per annum (negotiable based upon experience)
My client is in need of a Pharmacy Technician to join their medium sized GP practice on site on a permanent basis. There is the flexibility of both full-time and part-time hours for this role, depending on your preference. You shall be working amongst a multidisciplinary team of fellow Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, Paramedics, GPs and a Nursing team.
Main duties will consist of:
- Dispensing prescription medication and other pharmaceutical products accurately and efficiently
- Providing advice to patients on the use of their medication, including dosage and potential side effects
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and treatment
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
