STEM Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their well- respected client based in Livingston. This is a part-time, temporary opportunity with the possibility of going permanent. The role will be based on-site.
Responsibilities:
· Match, batch and coding of invoices
· Supplier statement reconciliations – highlighting and resolving any discrepancies
· Allocating payments to correct ledgers and keeping purchase ledger up to date
· Processing payments to system
· Resolving queries and dealing with any supplier escalations
· Any additional ad hoc duties within accounts as required
Skills required:
· Experience in a similar role
· Good understanding of accounting practices and processes
· Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, and experience of using accounting software – SAP desirable
· Highly organised individual with great attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships both internally and externally
Salary:
c£24k - dependant on experience
