Salary details: Grade 8, £29,447- £33,024

Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week, Fixed Term (12 months)

The Children, Young People and Families Directorate continues to grow and evolve. In line with our changing population and localities, and as part of our transformation, we are offering an exciting opportunity to join our established Commissioning and Quality Assurance Team.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer working to the Quality & Transformation Manager who will embed quality assurance guidance and processes throughout each step of the commissioning cycle to ensure the provision of high quality, safe and compliant services and improved outcomes for children, young people and families.

This role will work with a range of partners and stakeholders to ensure a range of services across Education and Social Care meet required quality standards, ensuring robust safeguarding measures are in place and that improved outcomes for children and young people are achieved. The role will respond to the changing health, education and social care agendas and play a role in influencing multi-agency arrangements to support change, and improve outcomes for Doncaster.

Doncaster Council ensures that all services are commissioned and quality assured against evidenced local need and statutory frameworks in line with local and national priorities. We continue to work proactively with all our partners and stakeholders to make the very best use of available resources and continuously review services to ensure they are high quality, person centred and value for money.

Suitable candidates will have experience in the Education, Health or Social Care sector with demonstrable knowledge of legislative frameworks and quality standards. Effective communication and engagement skills, and the ability to manage sensitive discussions and situations are essential as is the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
