Purpose:
Here at Deichmann we are looking to appoint a Recruitment Business Partner. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive an initial competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Ideal candidate:
This is a really exciting opportunity for a results driven Internal Recruiter or an HR Advisor with experience in Recruitment, looking to progress their career, with an international, successful, market leading retailer.
You will provide the vital link between HR, Marketing and Operations, and be responsible for the development and implementation of an effective recruitment strategy. You will partner with the hiring managers to define and understand resourcing requirements, and utilise a full range of modern recruitment and selection methods to attract high calibre talent, support employee engagement and drive company performance. You will also provide HR advice and support at an advisory level across the wider HR agenda.
Key Responsibilities as our Recruitment Business Partner will include:
Recruitment and selection
Being the Hiring Manager’s “go to” expert for all things recruitment
Leading on whole team recruitment for New Store Openings including facilitating at assessment centres
Leading on Store Manager recruitment including candidate attraction, application screening, first stage interviews and facilitating assessment centres
Ensuring recruitment activities across the business, deliver on the business need
Providing coaching and training to managers on recruitment and selection
Employer Brand Strategy
Supporting the ongoing development of the Careers Website, ensuring material used is in line with the Employer Brand Strategy and that the company’s EVP is centric to this
Managing and delivering on the Employer Brand Strategy using various social media platforms i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn and D Connect to include the design and implementation of targeted recruitment campaigns
Research and analysis
Conducting research and analysis to keep up to date with developments in the field of Recruitment and proposing changes and revisions to the Employer brand strategy
Analysing the success of recruitment campaigns in order to modify approach taken in attracting talent to recruitment streams going forward
Ad Hoc
Other HR projects and activities, supporting the business from both a recruitment specialism and from a wider HR context

Key activities:
- Degree and / or CIPD qualified and/ or equivalent professional experience
- Strong past experience of working in HR, with a recruitment specialism
- Previous experience of working with social media
- Working knowledge of employer branding
- Knowledge and experience of using search tools to identify candidates
- Knowledge of the end to end recruitment process/policy including legal requirements and recruitment best practice
- Previous experience of implementing/operating HR or ATS Systems
- IT literate
Personal characteristics:
- Results focussed
- Strong and credible relationship builder
- Effective communication skills/able to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Personal drive and proactive approach to making role own
- Basic knowledge of German desirable, not essential
