Role summary:

The role of the Recruitment Assistant is to support our Care Support Worker Development team. The successful candidate will manage a cohort of care support worker applicants through the applications process and be passionate about ensuring they are placed on wards, carrying out tasks to ensure a great candidate experience throughout.

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Skills/Responsibilities:

We recruit candidates to take part in a development programme and in turn train our candidates to become care support workers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment administration process on a day-to-day basis.
  • Respond to all calls and requests professionally and proactively.
  • Act as a resource, offering support and advice to the customer
  • Respond to applicant queries professionally and proactively
  • Liaise and develop relationships with the customer and external agencies
  • Provide advice on the recruitment process to flexible and corporate staff
  • Attend and contribute to meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate lines of communication and working relationships are established and maintained with candidates and corporate staff.
  • Deal with customer complaints ensuring a positive outcome
  • Communicate customer needs and expectations to the Recruitment Manager




About The Candidate

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bring experience working within administration or customer service, ideally in the recruitment sector
  • Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Be able to work from our Hemel Hempstead office 3/4 days per week during probation and then moving to a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home
  • Be able to deal with a variety of stakeholders and have great communication skills
  • Have excellent organisation skills and multitasking ability
  • Have basic Excel skills
  • Be a car driver and have access to a vehicle so as to be able to easily travel to client Hospital Trust sites as required
