The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a partnership team to provide leadership and manage boards, assemblies and partnerships across the Integrated Care Systems.


If you are passionate about improving health and wellbeing for Hampshire residents this is the role for you. You will have the opportunity to influence partnerships and strategies for Hampshire working with representatives and leaders across districts, councils and the new integrated care systems across Hampshire.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with a proven track record in the delivery of strategic and partnership working across departmental and organisational boundaries along with the following essential qualities:

  • Experience in leading and delivering complex strategic projects or policy development.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible approach to a varied workload.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Working well with ambiguity and a changing environment.
  • Excellent organisational, management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple forums and workstreams across partnerships.
  • Understanding of local government and the wider health and care system.

The department supports flexible working including offering a 9-day fortnight and flexible hours to support caring responsibilities. The role is also well suited to working from home although there will be ongoing office and partner location-based work and meetings, therefore you need to have the ability to travel to other locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, as necessary.
